APAAC Student Contract

Course Commitment:

1. I have watched the 'Introducing the Award of Proficiency in Access Arrangement Coordination’ video (at this link) and I understand the course commitments.
2. I understand the time commitment required (approximately 30 hours), and confirm that I am able to give the time needed to complete the course.
3. I understand that I have a maximum of three months from the date of enrolment to complete the course (a short extension will be offered).
4. I have discussed the course commitment with my Head of Centre or Line Manager (if not self-employed), and have their support.
5. If my employer is paying for the course, I give permission for my progress to be discussed with them.
6. I understand that if I am unable to complete the course or if I do not pass my fees will not be refunded.

Submission Policy:

1. I agree to submit all assignments by the deadline agreed.
2. I understand that all work must be produced independently and I will avoid plagiarism.
3. I understand that I need a good level of written English, a high level of self-motivation, good organisation and time management skills in order to complete the course.

Course Materials:

1. I am aware that I am required to watch all the video presentations provided.
2. I understand that the login provided for me to access the APAAC course sessions is for my personal use to complete the APAAC course only. Under no circumstances will I allow anyone else to watch any of the videos (with the exception of the training course in Assignment 9), forward the PDF documents or pass on my login details.
3. I am aware that I may need to print large numbers of documents for course materials.
4. I am aware that I must not photocopy examiner booklets, any sections of test manuals, test cards or other copyrighted materials provided by a test publisher. (Where such pages have been shown on videos, Include-ed have been given specific permission from the publishers to include each page).

Data Processing:

1. I have read the Include-ed Privacy Policy and consent to my personal data being used in accordance with the policy, including transfer to third parties as necessary for supplying the course. The policy can be found here: www.include-ed.org.uk/privacy-policy/
2. I confirm that the personal data I have given is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge.
3. I give consent for my personal data (first name, surname, date of birth, gender, email address, centre address) being passed onto and processed by Qualifi (APAAC awarding body) in order to be enrolled on the APAAC, and for Qualifi to meet their statutory requirements. I understand that without this consent, I cannot be enrolled onto the APAAC.
4. I understand that I can request Qualifi’s Privacy Policy and Include-ed’s comprehensive Data Protection policies from the APAAC Course Manager.
5. I understand that a copy of my photo ID will be stored securely for the purpose of confirming my identity with the awarding body and will be securely deleted after I have completed the course.
6. I understand my rights under the GDPR as detailed in the Include-ed Privacy Policy and agree to contact the APAAC Course Manager if I have any concerns.
