Communicate-ed
Communicate-ed have a range of courses for education professionals involved in the area of special educational needs, which a particular focus on examination access arrangements at secondary school and further education level. These include a brief overview for general staff, training for exam helpers supporting students in exams, SENCos and Examination Officers organising support during the exam period, as well as Access Arrangements Assessors and Educational Psychologists assessing students. Our training for Language Modifiers is run jointly with the Chartered Institute of Educational Assessors and offers accreditation for successful delegates.
The Chartered Institute of Educational Assessors (CIEA)
A professional membership organisation, set up to improve standards in educational assessment. The CIEA endorse Include-ed’s PAPAA and PAPSET courses.
Digital Chalk
An online training platform, hosting Include-ed’s online training courses.
Dittas Training
Training and supporting dyslexia professionals to develop their assessing and tutoring skills through webinars, mentoring, membership and INSET training. Sarah Beard, the Director of Dittas Training, co-founded the PAPAA course with Caroline Read.

A charity working with strategic partners in developing countries – both churches and local NGOs – to inspire, empower, train and resource people and their communities to break free from poverty and disease. They do this by training in community healthcare (CHC), micro-enterprise development (MED), education and leadership development. They also support partners as they set up income-generating projects and strategic alliances. Include-ed channel charitable giving through Links.

SpLD Assessment Standards Committee (SASC)
A standard-setting group which promotes good practice and standards for SpLD assessors and practitioners.
The Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ)
A membership organisation comprising the eight largest providers of qualifications in the UK. Working towards the advancement of public education through providing, where possible, common administrative arrangements for examinations; responding to proposals from regulators, Government and other stakeholders; and communicating with a single voice to the media and other interested parties.
The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual)
Ofqual’s job is to maintain standards and confidence in qualifications. They look after GCSEs and A levels in England, and a wide range of vocational qualifications both in England and Northern Ireland. Ofqual also regulate the National Curriculum Assessments in England.
Professional Association for Teachers and Assessors of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties (Patoss)
Patoss is the professional association of teachers of students with specific learning difficulties, for all those concerned with the teaching and support of pupils with SpLD, for example: dyslexic, dyspraxic, dyscalculic, ADHD.
